The Church Planting Team of the Western Australian Conference exists to equip and nurture people to start new churches that connect with their communities in relevant ways. Our aim is to multiply these missional groups and start a church planting movement that extends God’s kingdom in Western Australia and beyond.
Join us in renewing the Adventist movement, creating significant lives and transforming communities for God’s kingdom!

To kickstart your church planting mission adventure with God, we encourage you to:
- Pray for God’s leading and calling.
- Read through the WA Conference Church Planting Framework for a good overview of our vision and direction.
- Read books or watch DVDs on the topic – We recommend starting with the book of Acts in the Bible, Neil Cole's book ‘Organic Church’, Adventist Fresh Expressions Handbook and Four Fields Manual. Other useful resources include, EG White ‘Acts of the Apostles’, Mark Finley ‘Revive Us Again’, WA God Stories DVD.
- Talk to people who are already leading a missional group.
