A Double Celebration: Sarah Roberts Marks Her Birthday and Baptism with Joy and Faith

Sarah Roberts, daughter of Lisa and Damon Roberts and sister to Jason, celebrated the beginning of her life (her 11th birthday) and also the beginning of her new life with Jesus (her baptism) on a special weekend in September.

Sarah’s friends, teachers, family and church members gathered together at Bickley Seventh-day Adventist Church on Sabbath, 16 September, to celebrate her baptism, to witness her public commitment to follow her Saviour, and also to welcome her into church membership, conducted by Pr Max Souradeth.

Thanks to live-streaming technology, Sarah’s family and grandparents in the Eastern states were able to join in the celebrations of her special day.

As Sarah goes forward in her journey with Jesus, we pray that God will continue to richly bless and guide her and that she will always put her faith and trust in Him who loves her.
