A Powerful evangelistic effort In Victoria Park

Recently, Victoria Park Seventh-day Adventist Church held a five-week evangelistic program at Victoria Park Seventh-day Adventist Primary School. Meetings took place on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and Monday nights. Pastor Aymond described it as his most impactful outreach program, saying, “It’s been powerful to see the Holy Spirit work so quickly, bringing real conviction to many people.”

The program consistently attracted 14-16 attendees per session, including teachers, a scientist, a specialist welder, and a matrix engineering student. Participants showed genuine interest in the presentations.

One attendee discovered the church through its YouTube channel, joined the program midway, and began worshipping regularly. She later discovered a friend was attending a similar program elsewhere, leaving them both amazed.

A retired Christian living 20 km away received an invitation card despite no distribution in his area, an event attributed to divine intervention.

Two Pentecostal attendees declared, “We have found the truth.” Another attendee, working remotely, secured Sabbath off and now worships weekly at Karratha Seventh-day Adventist Church, with his employer creating a new department to honor his Sabbath observance.

The program also connected Pastor Aymond with members of a Sunday-keeping church using the same hall. A nurse with Adventist friends and another woman with Adventist roots engaged in meaningful conversations and received spiritual resources.

Baptisms were a highlight. Pastor Gary baptized a couple from a previous outreach, followed by five more responding to an altar call. Two weeks later, Pastor Aymond baptized a young Pentecostal woman, and two more attendees, including the matrix engineering student, committed to baptism.

The program was a testament to God’s active presence, the power of prayer, and the dedication of the church community.
