Baptism at Clarkson Church

There was joy in heaven and beautiful smiling faces on Sabbath, 14 January 2023, at Clarkson Seventh-day Adventist Church as the congregation witnessed another happy soul baptised.

Marlyn Blumears-West gave her heart to the Lord as she entered the water of the font to be baptised by Pr Abby Aviles and publically declared her faith in the Lord Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection.

Marlyn was inspired to be baptised following the ‘Countdown Back to the Future’ and ‘Secrets of Prophecy’ programs held at Clarkson church in September 2021 through to February 2022.

Marlyn’s baptism was truly a family affair with several of her family and herself leading out with an item in song prior to her baptism. Michele Hill, Marlyn’s cousin presented a heart-warming special item after the baptism. Following the service, Pr Abby made an altar call which inspired two more people to step forward desiring baptism.
