New Staffing

SEAN TAVAI - Youth & Children
Hey WA, my name is Pastor Sean Tavai, born and raised in New Zealand, married to my wife Amia Tavai who is born and raised in Townsville, QLD. I have 2 sons, Lorenzo and Jaruel. I am passionate about discipling people to experience Jesus and growing them to be leaders, active disciples, ministers, and just great representatives of Jesus Christ in which ever and wherever they are.

I enjoy sports, outdoors, the gym, watching movies, and food. My family love to have a good laugh, get outdoors, go to the beach, we enjoy swimming, and playing games and sports.

We are excited to be in this beautiful part of Australia.

EDEN ASHCROFT - Youth & Children
I am a country kid but have fully embraced city life. I love spending time at the beach, discovering new cafes, and exploring new places. Family is really important to me, and I value every chance I get to be with them. I’m excited to be back in an AFL state and hopefully, you’ll forgive the colours I wear! Above everything, my faith is central to my life. I’m passionate about creating spaces where young people can connect and grow in their relationship with Jesus.

VIKRAM PANCHAL - Northern Perth Church Planter
Vikram and Leah Panchal join us from Melbourne, having planted two vibrant and warm churches. Their passion for ministry is shared equally with their love for their children, Nahum (6), Hosanna (4), and Melody (6 months) who bring great joy and laughter to the home.

Vikram enjoys being creative and has produced a highly interactive Bible study course called Life XTension available through Hope Channel Australia, and has a podcast called Lead Your Life that airs on Faith FM and Adventist World Radio seeking to help people live their lives to the full potential God has designed them for! They look forward to starting fresh in sunny WA and continue growing God’s kingdom by planting a church in the inner north! Continue to keep their family in prayer with everything God has in store for them.

ERICKSON FABIEN -Jigalong Company, Nullagine and Newman Group
Pastor Erickson Fabien, who hails from the Caribbean island of Dominica, has been a pastor for eighteen years. Having obtained an MDiv from AIIAS in the Philippines, he first served in Singapore, where he was ordained in 2010. Moving to Western Australia in 2011, he pastored first the Livingston church and later, the Morley, and Rockingham churches. After a year’s leave during 2018, he was appointed as Pastor of the Wellington Church, the Wellington Tongan Company, and the Wellington City SDA Community in New Zealand’s capital city. For the past two years, Pastor Erickson served as Regional Pastor (ministerial team leader) for the Wellington region.

Erickson’s ministry partner is Trinidadian Jaqcueline “Jackie” Fabien. They have two adult children.

BRETT WEIER -Katanning Company and Kulikup And Manjimup Church
I grew up on a farm in rural Queensland and became a Christian at 13 after a death in the family led me to seek answers in the Bible. My journey of faith eventually led me to the Seventh-day Adventist Church, where I was baptised in 2016—the same year I married my wonderful wife, Kacey. We now have two beautiful daughters, Astrid and Stephanie, who bring us endless joy.

Before following the call to ministry, I was a history teacher, and my love for history remains a big part of who I am. I’m particularly interested in Christian History and the medieval Byzantine Empire (I even own a suit of 12th-century armour, so don’t be surprised if it features in an Ephesians 6 sermon one day!)

I’m passionate about sharing the Good News and growing the Kingdom through the local church.

CARLOS FAUATEA - Armadale Church and Piara Waters Plant

I’ve recently graduated from Avondale University; I’ve moved from the fast-paced city of Melbourne to the sunny weather and calm pace city of WA. I’m a proud Samoan navigating newlywed life with my beautiful wife, Sela, who works here in the WA Conference. When I’m not working, you might find me playing touch football somewhere, shooting hoops, or trying to figure out why golf is so hard—it’s humbling, to say the least.

Passionate about sharing Jesus, I aim to make His message simple yet profound, connecting hearts in a way that’s real and meaningful. God has taken me to many places and I’m excited to see where He leads me in this next chapter!
