Focus on Prayer
How good is it when you know people are praying for you? It lifts me up and encourages me! There have been times when I’ve found it hard to pray for myself, and to have someone else step in and say, “I’m praying for you” was like an answer to a prayer I hadn’t even prayed.
Ephesians 6:18 encourages us to pray for each other by saying, “Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.”
For all believers everywhere! Let’s intentionally pray for each other.
During June we are inviting everyone across Western Australia to join together in prayer. The prayer focus for these 30 days will be on different people groups. People working in different industries, people facing different challenges, people living in different regions.
Each day has a prayer focus and Bible verse. Pray for the people you know who fall under that day’s category and then pray for the entire group. You will find the June prayer calendar on the next page. Put it on your fridge or take a photo of it to keep in your phone, set a daily reminder to pray at the same time each day, and do whatever works for you. Please join us in this unique way of connecting to God and each other.
