South West Regional
On the weekend of July 30, the churches of the South-West came together for their regional meeting. It was one of the largest gatherings of the churches since Covid began. The Aussie Pastor, as Pastor Lloyd Grolimund is known, shared the gospel message with people in an engaging style that brought hope and was very practical for those who came to worship. The feedback was very positive. In his presentations, Lloyd made it clear that the Seventh day Adventist Church has a heritage in the Protestant Reformation that teaches the biblical message that we have a mediator, who is Jesus Christ. Jesus saves us and changes us, but His intercession for us continues until Jesus Christ comes at his Second Coming. We look forward to this day when all lifeβs battles will be over, and sin will finally be no more. Thank God we can rely on our Savior Jesus Christ who saves to the uttermost. Pastor Lloyd is a strong advocate for the work of Ellen White, but reminded us that we always base our teaching on the Bible and that Ellen White was fully supportive of this position. Lloyd encouraged us to be people of the book and judge everything through the lens of the Bible.
