Esperance Christian School Jumps Rope
During Term 2 this year, Esperance Christian School students participated in the Jump Rope for Heart fundraising initiative. Over five weeks, students skipped and sought sponsors to support the Heart Foundation. With an ambitious goal of $2,000, students were excited to surpass the goal and finished by raising $2,661. This fundraiser highlighted our school values of Effort and Service, as students worked hard on their skipping, to serve others whom they are unlikely to meet. To finish our five weeks, we held a jump-off afternoon, during which students participated in a round-robin of skipping activities. Students commented that it was a lot of fun and appreciated the opportunity to help others in our community.
