The WA Conference Discipleship Ministry Team desires to invite all Sabbath School leaders in our local church to our once a quarter prayer time online. The prayer meeting will run no more than 1 hour long from 7:30 pm every first Tuesday of each quarter.
ADRA’s evolving disaster response in WA
ADRA Australia, assisted by the local WA Conference ADRA Regional Manager, is partnering with local churches, and assisting them to be better prepared to help their community through a program called the Disaster Ready Church (DRC).
Construction Underway at Mamarapha College
The administration building has now been fitted with much-needed storage space, additional offices, a staff workroom and a Faith FM studio. The new buildings and office have been in operation since early 2023, with the final addition of a radio tower which is yet to be completed.
ATSIM enjoys Easter Camp and Elder Ordination
Easter Camp at Advent Park was a highlight for ATSIM Ministries for Western Australia. A good group of a Aboriginal families travelled to Advent Park from as far as Broome, Nullagine, Karalundi and other areas around the state.

Adventist pastor wins medals at World Transplant Games
There was a moment in the opening ceremony where, after all the 60 participating nations had entered the stadium, the living donors and donor families entered. The athletes all stood as one in applause and for five minutes showed their gratitude at what those incredible people and families had given. It was deeply moving and beautiful.

School Community Fights for Down Syndrome Classmate
Aaryan is in year 4 and Aaryasree in year 3 at Victoria Park Christian School, an Adventist school in Perth’s south-eastern suburbs. News of their imminent deportation saw their classmates spring into action. They wrote letters to the Immigration Minister, appealing to him to intervene and allow the family to remain in Australia.
Reading Through the Bible
I have always found reading scripture a blessing. The important part is not worrying if you miss a day, every now and then I miss a day, but I just get back into it again and enjoy the blessings that God has given me as I read His word.

Why have we reorganised the Advent Park layout?
We are expecting a record Easter Camp attendance this year. Over 50% of the campsites were sold out in the first 12 hours of the booking system opening. There is also a growing trend of campers bringing campervans and caravans that the previous campsite layout didn’t cater well to. We want to give as many people as possible, the opportunity for an on-site camping experience.
